This is my passion project in which I've named it: uncomplicated happiness. What does uncomplicated happiness look like to you? Uncomplicated happiness is something that, over the past couple of years, I've strived for in everything that I do every single day. It has lead me to incredible jobs, acceptance into grad school, & the undeniably best people in my life, whom I am fortunate enough to call my family.
Uncomplicated happiness is simple: happiness that is not complicated.
There are many reasons as to why I wanted to start this website & begin blogging. I have found throughout my life that writing is incredibly therapeutic for me. Whenever something significant, good or bad, would happen in my life, I always found myself wanting to write it down or documenting it in some way so it would stay forever. This way all my feelings towards that one moment in my life would be able to be relived in the future - it would allow me to travel back to that very moment.
For the past couple of years I have kept a five year journal. I wanted to write down everything that has happened in my life for the past five years. I started at the beginning of 2016 and have been writing in it every day since then. I can tell you one thing, a lot has changed since January 1, 2016. I would highly recommend this five year journal, it's fun to read back on events in your life that you thought were so insignificant and how they added up to be bigger life events that you didn't see coming.
This blog is about what I have learnt throughout my life thus far. It took me 26 years to figure out the elements that make up my uncomplicated happiness and at 27 years old I am still learning about myself and trying to figure it out.
Keep in mind, that as I am writing this, I am mindful that not all of these elements will work for everyone, these are just some of the elements that I have learnt work for me. This is somewhat the foundation of my uncomplicated happiness and some of the elements that I have found useful to becoming the person I am today.
Find your passion & go for it. Reach for the stars, as some would say, as much as they seem out of reach, you'll eventually land exactly where you are supposed to be.
I hope you find these helpful in discovering what your uncomplicated happiness is.
